I challenge you to think differently about water safety.

It’s not about warm weather.  It’s not about learning to swim.    It’s not even about having access to water to learn it.

It IS about learning the nature, the different conditions, the dangers of water from inside our own homes, to everywhere we meet it out doors and throughout the year.

It IS about learning to appreciate, to acknowledge the power and most importantly, to respect, the water.

It IS about developing a deeper understanding of and therefore a new relationship with the water.

It IS about teaching our children to assess a situation so they can make decisions that will keep them safe and NOT a statistic.
