Swim Strong Founder Shawn Slevin Visits Bosnia June 2017 – See Video Below

Swim Strong’s mission is to Save and Change lives through the teaching of water safety and strong swimming skills.  We want to make these life lessons available to ALL.

Executive Director, Shawn Slevin, was able to visit Sarajevo, Bosnia, to meet with Director Amel Kapo of PK SPID, the one program that works with people with physical and mental challenges in Bosnia.

Working with these children reaffirms our natural love of the water and the human spirit willing to push past perceived obstacles  to learn skills, accomplish goals, and thoroughly enjoy the water. 

Knowing that these skills are transferrable to help overcome situations out of the pool is an enormous benefit.

Swim Strong is proud to partner with Team PK SPID and other organizations around the globe in making these life skills available to ALL.
