TREADING WATER – An Attempt To Break The Guinness World Record
Swim Strong Foundation will be joining the teams across the country in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most people treading water at the same time in multiple locations. Proceeds raised will support our scholarship program and International Water Safety Association’s Cambodia Project.
On September 27, 2017, we will attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records: “Most People Treading Water at the Same Time in Multiple Locations”. The record currently sits at 805 people.
Of the money we raise from the Tread-A-Thon, 50% will go to the International Water Safety Foundation, a non-profit organization raising drowning awareness while bringing basic swimming, water safety, and safe rescue skills to children in developing countries. The International Water Safety Foundation will then donate 80% of their portion of raised funds directly to fund vetted drowning intervention projects like that of SWIM Cambodia. The other 50% will go to Swim Strong Foundation Scholarship program.
Please share our event with your friends and family in order to support you and help more people to learn to swim.
